Fuchsia is a shade which goes well with most skin tones and MAC has one such shade that I was craving for since long. Today, I am here with my first review for ‘Beautiful As Always’ blog. I am excited to share my views here and hope my review is useful for all the wonderful readers of this blog. Today I am reviewing one of MAC’s bestsellers and a cult MAC favourite ‘GAT’. One of the best fuchsias ever owned makes GAT so popular. It was in my wish list since long and I am indeed happy to own it now. MAC Girl about Town or more popularly known as ‘GAT’ is a cult favorite shade and as I explained before, it was on my Wishlist for long. Mac Girl About Town comes with one of the most easy to wear formula from MAC , the Amplified crème formula. MAC Girl About Town is from MAC’s permanent line of Makeup so you can pick it up as you like. But remember, it’s a hot favorite and at times it stays Out of stock .

Review of MAC Girl About Town Lipstick
MAC describes Mac Girl About Town as bright blue fuchsia. And yes that is quite an apt description. Girl About Town mac is indeed a bright and a bold fuchsia pink with clear blue undertones. It has a lovely purple tinge to it that is visible under flash light. Under natural light the shade appears as a bright pink only.
GAT is a very wearable hot pink and would suit almost all skin tones. I prefer wearing this shade when I need a pop of color especially during night outs. The color adds the perfect drama to your lips enhancing your complete look. This shade would look good both on Indian wear as well as western wear. The day I picked this, it has been my favourite fuchsia pink while the others are resting back in the makeup organizer ;).
Texture:
MAC Girl About Town is highly pigmented and color payoff is great in 1-2 swipes. You can definitely intensify the color by re-applying. The amplified crème texture makes it a pigmented lipstick that glides on nicely on to the lips. It sets quickly and gives a nice sheen finish to the lips. It is not drying at all still I can’t skip a lip balm at the end of the day so won’t call it moisturizing too.
The color doesn’t bleed or feather. It fades away very evenly leaving a stain too that stay put for a couple of hours again. It is not transfer resistant though.
Staying Power :
MAC Girl About Town stay put for a good 4+ hours on me with a full meal in between. It leaves a stain after a meal which is dark enough and I don’t find a need for a touch-up later. That is just great.

Final Words:
MAC Girl About Town or GAT is a must have lipstick from MAC. This shade is a must have fuchsia for those who love bright and bold pinks. I Highly recommended this shade. Go pick this up soon . Girl about town mac is a must have shade so you won’t regret it.
